Government enforces 'one officer, one car' policy for bureaucrats
The Finance Ministry has directed all government departments and ministries to strictly implement the 'one officer, one car' mandate. According to the official memo, bureaucrats are prohibited from claiming a second vehicle even if they occupy multiple positions across different departments, ministries, autonomous bodies, PSUs, or subordinate offices. The directive further specified that any vehicles that are no longer being used must be placed in secure storage.
