Google introduces option to hide visible AI watermarks
Google is rolling out a feature that lets users turn off visible watermarks on media created by its AI tools, such as images (Nano Banana), videos (Omni), and audio (Lyria). Even with this change, the company will keep invisible SynthID watermarks and C2PA metadata intact to ensure transparency. Users will be able to toggle off these visible labels within Gemini and the Flow video editing platform.
