Google gains rights to acquire Marvell shares worth ₹1.16 lakh crore for AI chip project
Google has broadened its collaboration with Marvell to create specialized AI processors, securing an option to purchase Marvell stock valued at $12.2 billion (approximately ₹1.166 lakh crore). According to a regulatory filing, Google is eligible to acquire 58,970,907 shares at a rate of $206.58 per share. The firms plan to work together on developing chips for Google’s artificial intelligence infrastructure, which includes the company's Tensor Processing Units (TPUs).
