Global perceptions of India: Which nations are most and least favorable?
A recent study by the Pew Research Center examined how citizens across 36 countries perceive India. Sri Lanka expressed the most positive sentiment toward India at 79%, whereas Pakistan recorded the lowest favorability at just 7%. In the United States, 50% of respondents viewed India unfavorably, compared to 45% who held a favorable opinion. Meanwhile, 71% of people in Kenya reported a favorable view of the country.
