Global landmarks glow in Indian colours for 80th Independence Day
Famous sites across the globe shone in the colours of the Indian flag to celebrate the country's 80th Independence Day. In the United States, landmarks including the Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, and Times Square were illuminated with the tricolour. Additionally, the Chords Bridge in Jerusalem, Niagara Falls, and the Burj Khalifa—the world's tallest structure—also displayed the Indian flag's colours.
