Gitanjali Angmo advocates for expanded Hindu Studies in higher education
Educationist Gitanjali Angmo, who is married to Sonam Wangchuk, remarked, "In India, we talk about Raja Rishi... Every part of our existence is guided by dharma. So, how is it possible to separate the state from religion?" Highlighting that ancient Indian sages identified the speed of light long before contemporary scientists, Angmo added, "There is a hesitation to provide funding for Hindu Studies. I am not sure why that is."
