Ghaziabad: Three factories raided for producing fake paneer with chemicals and palm oil
Authorities from the Food Safety Department conducted raids on three manufacturing units in Nahli village, Ghaziabad, uncovering suspected paneer adulteration. According to officials, the factories were allegedly using milk powder, palm oil, laundry whitener, and various chemicals to produce the product. The inspection team disposed of 868 kg of paneer along with 170 kg of khoya and secured 20 samples for lab analysis. A formal case has been filed, and additional measures will be determined once the test results are available.
