Ghaziabad authorities confiscate 10 quintals of contaminated rasgullas
Food safety officials in Ghaziabad have seized approximately 10 quintals of 'chhena rasgullas' found to be infested with insects. According to official Suresh Mishra, the sweets were reportedly made using a mixture of mashed paneer, starch, and additives such as sodium formaldehyde sulphoxylate. The official confirmed that the entire batch was destroyed and noted that proceedings to cancel the manufacturer's license are now underway.
