A user on X shared a story about a Gen Z staff member who had an hour of pay docked due to a company rule penalizing anyone more than 10 minutes late. According to the post, the employee didn't protest the pay cut. Later, when the business experienced a one-hour internet outage and requested that staff stay past their scheduled time, the worker walked out, pointing to that exact same policy.
