Gas supply restrictions removed following return of Middle East LNG imports
The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas announced on Saturday that it has revoked the order restricting gas suppliers, following the restoration of liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipments from the Middle East. Back in March, the government had implemented emergency protocols to redirect gas away from non-essential sectors toward critical users, following disruptions to LNG transport through the Strait of Hormuz.
