Gajendra Chauhan criticizes 'Ramayana' title, insists on 'Ramayan'

He stated, "They are calling it Ramayana, but it is Ramayan." He further remarked that while we operate in the Hindi language, there is a tendency to rely on English. He questioned the necessity of the title change, noting, "I understand you are targeting a global audience, but wasn't Lagaan a global film as well? You can certainly release a movie internationally while keeping its Hindi title."
