Former Uttarakhand official's son arrested for impersonating IPS and RAW officers
Dehradun authorities have taken 35-year-old Yashvardhan into custody. He is the son of a retired Uttarakhand chief secretary and is accused of defrauding people by pretending to be an Army officer, an IPS officer, and a member of RAW. According to the police, he utilized forged government credentials to deceive his victims. His arrest followed several complaints, including a report that he swindled ₹15 lakh by falsely claiming he could expedite a corporate registration process.
