Former teacher builds ₹15-crore snack business in Bengaluru
Veena Devi, a retired school teacher from Bihar, relocated to Bengaluru and transformed her traditional Thekua recipe into a successful snack company called Mom's Made, now valued at ₹15 crore. Seeking to remain productive post-retirement, she started the enterprise, which currently handles more than 1,000 orders every day and employs roughly 50 women, successfully scaling a family kitchen staple into a flourishing commercial brand.
