Former Ram Mandir Trust official Champat Rai cleared of donation fraud allegations
The Special Investigating Team (SIT) tasked with looking into claims of donation misappropriation at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has exonerated Champat Rai, the former General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The SIT also dropped the charges against Anil Mishra, another former member of the Trust. Both Rai and Mishra had stepped down from their roles following the initial accusations of theft.
