Former Indian envoy demands apology from Trudeau over Nijjar claims, calls them baseless
Following the US indictment of Lawrence Bishnoi in connection with the murder of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, former Indian High Commissioner to Canada Sanjay Verma has slammed Justin Trudeau for the accusations he previously made. Verma stated that Trudeau was prepared to make public claims despite having no evidence to support them. Insisting on an apology, he added that these allegations caused significant distress to the families of all involved diplomats.
