Former India U-19 cricketer Manjot Kalra held in Sri Lanka for alleged LPL match-fixing bribe

Manjot Kalra, who previously won the U-19 World Cup for India, has been taken into custody in Colombo. He is accused of trying to offer a player ₹27 lakh to manipulate the outcome of a Lanka Premier League game. Officials stated that a player informed them about the bribe attempt about 10 days ago. Sri Lanka Cricket has pledged its complete support to the ongoing investigation.
