Former cricket captains, including 3 Indians, urge Pakistan PM to check on Imran Khan's health
A group of 21 former cricket captains, featuring Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, and Dilip Vengsarkar, has again reached out to Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding Imran Khan’s well-being. The group requested that officials allow a medical board appointed by the Supreme Court to examine him, while also asking for the restoration of family visitation rights and proper medical care. Imran Khan was briefly moved to a hospital recently but was sent back to Adiala Jail after medical staff deemed him fit.
