Ford and Micron ink deal for long-term vehicle chip supply
On Monday, Ford Motor and American chipmaker Micron Technology entered into a long-term agreement to supply semiconductors for future vehicle models. The partnership aims to guarantee access to memory and storage solutions as the need for sophisticated infotainment and driver-assistance technology continues to grow. This move follows a similar arrangement between Micron and General Motors and bolsters the company's DRAM production efforts in Virginia.
