Five Indian-origin students reach finals of major US science contest

Five students of Indian descent have advanced to the finals of the 2026 3M Young Scientist Challenge, a prominent US-based competition for middle schoolers, thanks to their creative solutions for common issues. The finalists include Aaisha Asif, Raji Doshi, Arika Kundu, Sharvi Mahajan, and Naboshree Santra. The student who takes home the top prize will be named America's Top Young Scientist and awarded $25,000.
