First navigation-guided brain tumour operation performed in Ahilyanagar

A 42-year-old farmer has become the first patient in Ahilyanagar to undergo a navigation-assisted brain tumour procedure at Saideep Sahyadri Hospital. Surgeons extracted a 3*2 cm growth located close to the motor centre of the brain by using a 12-mm keyhole incision. The 90-minute operation was completed successfully, leaving the patient without any seizures or paralysis. He was sent home after a three-day recovery period and is anticipated to return to his daily life shortly.
