Firefighters save two Andhra students stranded at Mallalli Falls

A pair of college students visiting from Andhra Pradesh had to be rescued by fire department personnel after becoming stuck in the powerful currents at Mallalli Falls in Kodagu. The two held onto rocks for about an hour until rescue crews reached them with specialized gear. They were taken to a hospital, where medical staff confirmed they are in stable condition.
