Famous Air India sign taken down from Mumbai skyscraper
The well-known 38-by-24-foot Air India emblem located on the roof of the 23-story Air India tower at Nariman Point, Mumbai, has been broken down into 40 sections by the PWD. According to PWD Mumbai Chief Engineer Pradnya Walke, the task spanned a week, with crews battling difficult conditions including heavy rain and high winds at that elevation. The Maharashtra state administration previously purchased the property for ₹1,601 crore.
