Fake ghee and oil stock valued at ₹35 lakh confiscated in Gujarat
The Food and Drug Control Administration of Gujarat conducted raids in Surat and Deesa, resulting in the seizure of suspected adulterated ghee and oils valued at more than ₹35 lakh. In a Surat-based factory, authorities recovered 5,157 litres of ghee, 1,485 kg of palmolein, and 285 kg of soybean oil intended for mixing. Additionally, 987 litres of ghee believed to be adulterated were confiscated in Deesa.
