Exercise or a nap may safeguard memory following sleep deprivation, study suggests

According to research led by McGill University, taking a brief nap or getting some exercise can assist in preserving memory when you have not slept. The study revealed that individuals who engaged in 20 minutes of intense physical activity or rested for 90 minutes showed a 22% improvement in memory test scores after 30 hours of wakefulness compared to those who did not. The findings were based on an analysis of 54 healthy young participants.
