Ex-Badrinath Temple official held for stealing donations
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) took former Badrinath Temple official Rajendra Chauhan into custody following a four-hour interrogation regarding donation theft allegations. Reports indicate that CCTV recordings captured Chauhan pocketing cash bundles on June 22, 25, and 29. According to the Uttarakhand Police, additional individuals identified in the surveillance footage will also face questioning.
