ED recovers ₹1 crore cash and 6 luxury vehicles in ₹2,000 crore chit-fund case
The Enforcement Directorate has confiscated six luxury vehicles and ₹1.01 crore in cash during searches across Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad connected to a ₹2,000 crore chit-fund fraud. Additionally, the agency blocked 182 bank accounts while raiding properties belonging to former Andhra Pradesh legislator Malla Vijaya Prasad and other individuals. These operations were executed as part of an investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
