ECB plans return of ODI tri-series following Shubman Gill's suggestion
Richard Gould, the head of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), has announced that the board is working on organizing ODI tri-series tournaments within the coming 12 to 18 months. This development follows recent comments from Indian ODI skipper Shubman Gill, who advocated for the return of triangular and quadrangular series to maintain the significance of the 50-over format. Gill also expressed his opposition to suggestions that ODI matches should be shortened to 40 overs.
