Doug Ford installs ‘Lake Ontario. Now and Always’ sign following Trump’s renaming
Following US President Donald Trump’s decision to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America, Ontario Premier Doug Ford has placed a prominent sign along the Canadian coast that reads, “Lake Ontario. Now and Always.” Ford stated, “Long before President Trump, this lake was called Lake Ontario...Long after President Trump is gone, it will still be called Lake Ontario.” The US and Canada are presently engaged in a trade dispute.
