Kasem Siddiqui, a rebel TMC MLA, has declared he is heading back to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s side, following his departure from the party months ago to join a splinter group headed by Opposition leader Ritabrata Banerjee. Explaining the move, he stated, "We were told that we were all with Didi (Mamata Banerjee)...We didn't realise that Ritabrata was separate." He further affirmed his loyalty, saying, "I'm with Didi...and as long as I'm active...I'll remain with Didi."
