Dipke questions Athawale’s party invitation, asks if he wasn't 'anti-national'
Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), replied on Wednesday to Union Minister Ramdas Athawale’s invitation to merge with the Republican Party of India (A). Dipke questioned the offer by asking, "Wasn't I anti-national a month ago?" Previously, Athawale had stated that Dipke is an Ambedkarite and should think about joining his party. Athawale had also proposed making Dipke the national president of the party's youth division.
