DGFT ends physical challan requirement for EODC filings
Starting August 1, 2026, the DGFT has eliminated the need for physical challans regarding EODC for AA/EPCG schemes. Moving forward, Customs and ICEGATE will transmit confirmed duty information to the DGFT via API. Exporters now have the ability to verify payments through the online portal, and Regional Authorities can view these records in a digital format. This transition reduces administrative burdens, expenses, and processing times. It also enhances transparency, accelerates the closure of licences, and simplifies export procedures for MSMEs, ultimately fostering a more efficient and straightforward trade compliance process for all exporters.
