Devdutt Padikkal sets record as youngest Indian to hit 150 in Sri Lanka
At 26 years and 39 days old, Indian cricketer Devdutt Padikkal has set a new record as the youngest Indian to reach a score of 150 on Sri Lankan soil, surpassing the previous mark held by Cheteshwar Pujara for nine years. Padikkal reached this milestone by hitting 167 runs off 230 balls in the first innings of the opening Test match against Sri Lanka in Galle. The previous record was set by Pujara, who scored 153 runs at the same stadium back in 2017.
