Devdutt Padikkal scores first Test century against Sri Lanka

On the opening day of the first Test match held in Galle, Devdutt Padikkal achieved his first-ever century in Test cricket for India. Playing in his third Test for the national side, Padikkal reached the milestone in 134 balls. With this performance, he became the second Indian player to score a century while batting at number three in more than three years, following Shubman Gill.
