Delhi's expansion has reduced Yamuna's size and water flow over 225 years

A major study reveals that the Yamuna river has experienced a consistent decrease in both its width and water volume over the past two centuries, coinciding with Delhi's ongoing urban development. This data comes from a collaborative research project conducted by experts from the Department of Geography at Delhi University and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Bhopal.
