Delhi's draft voter list out: 47.7 lakh names removed
On Monday, the Election Commission of India released the draft electoral roll for Delhi after completing a Special Intensive Revision (SIR). Official figures show that 47.7 lakh names were dropped from the city's total of 1.45 crore voters. The new draft contains approximately 97.5 lakh registered electors, while the applications for the other voters were marked as "uncollectable" across various categories.
