Delhi schools to shut on September 11 due to BRICS Summit
The Directorate of Education has issued an official notice stating that all schools across Delhi will be closed on September 11 because of the BRICS Summit 2026. Prior to this, the Delhi administration had already announced a public holiday for all government offices, public sector undertakings, and autonomous organizations for the same day. The BRICS Summit is set to take place on September 12 and 13 at the Bharat Mandapam venue.
