Delhi records more than August's average rainfall in just 8 days
Delhi has already exceeded its typical rainfall levels for August in just over a week. Data from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) shows that by 8:30 pm on Saturday, the Safdarjung Observatory—the city's primary weather station—had logged 230.1 mm of rain. This figure surpasses the 226.8 mm that is usually expected for the entire month.
