Delhi Police prohibits drones and aerial vehicles for Independence Day
Ahead of Independence Day, the Delhi Police has prohibited the operation of drones, hot air balloons, para-gliders, and similar aerial devices throughout the capital until August 16. The directive was issued following intelligence reports warning of potential security risks from terrorists, criminals, and other anti-social groups. Any breach of these restrictions will result in legal consequences under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
