The Delhi Police have dismantled an online fraud operation that tricked individuals by promising to facilitate child adoptions. Two men were taken into custody from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. A 30-year-old woman residing in Burari, Delhi, reported being swindled out of ₹1.37 lakh during her attempt to adopt a child. The perpetrators would demand multiple fees, provide victims with counterfeit NGO documents and falsified medical records, and subsequently cut off all communication.
