Delhi issues traffic alert for BRICS rehearsal starting 7 pm
In preparation for the 2026 BRICS Summit, the Delhi Traffic Police has released an advisory regarding a motorcade drill scheduled for September 9 between 7 pm and 10 pm. The notice highlights 22 locations for traffic diversions and notes that more than 35 roads will be impacted, such as Janpath, Teen Murti Marg, Mother Teresa Crescent, and Sardar Patel Marg. Commuters heading to the airport are encouraged to utilize the Metro instead.
