Delhi introduces annual 50% work-from-home rule during winter to curb pollution
To tackle air pollution in the capital, the Delhi government has made it compulsory for 50% of staff in both private and government offices to work remotely between November 1 and January 31 each year. During these months, government offices are scheduled to function from 10 am to 6:30 pm. Additionally, private companies have been instructed to encourage employees to use public transit, carpool, and share rides.
