Delhi High Court rejects petition over homeless exclusion from electoral roll revision

The Delhi High Court has turned down a petition that claimed homeless individuals were being left out of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls because of the door-to-door survey process. The court pointed out that the Election Commission of India already has a set procedure in its manual to identify addresses for those without homes. The bench concluded that the concerns raised in the plea were unfounded.
