Delhi HC denies plea to move Sonam Wangchuk to private hospital
The Delhi High Court has turned down a request from Gitanjali Angmo, the wife of Sonam Wangchuk, to transfer him from Safdarjung Hospital to a private medical facility. While rejecting the plea, the court ordered that a report on his current health condition be submitted within three days. The bench further noted that the government acted appropriately in deciding to admit him to the current hospital.
