Delhi-Haridwar Highway to close for all traffic from August 4-12 for Kanwar Yatra
Starting July 30, heavy vehicles will face restrictions on the Delhi-Haridwar National Highway and the Ganga Canal road as the Kanwar Yatra begins. A complete ban on all vehicle movement will be in effect from August 4 through August 12. District Magistrate Umesh Mishra stated that police divers will be stationed at key bathing locations along the Ganga Canal route to maintain the safety of the pilgrims.
