Delhi: Government greenlights 6-lane tunnel project to ease traffic
The Union Cabinet has given the go-ahead for a six-lane tunnel project in Dwarka, costing ₹6,969.67 crore, aimed at reducing traffic congestion in Delhi. This 8.1-km stretch will link the Dwarka Expressway (NH 248-BB) to Vasant Kunj in South Delhi. The initiative is set to assist commuters traveling from Gurugram, Dwarka, West Delhi, and the IGI Airport toward South Delhi. Additionally, the plan features an elevated corridor connecting AIIMS and Mahipalpur.
