Delhi government ends work-from-home policy introduced for fuel conservation

The Delhi administration has scrapped the rule requiring employees to work from home for two days each week. This measure was initially adopted following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal to citizens to save fuel during the conflict in the Middle East. As part of the earlier initiative, the government had also adjusted office hours and reduced the fuel quota for official vehicles by 20%. Normal office operations have now resumed, with working hours restored to 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.
