Delhi FSSAI head: No raids or strict action needed, focus on awareness
Devash Kumar Mahla, the North Director of FSSAI, stated that there is no requirement for aggressive crackdowns in the Delhi-NCR region. He remarked, "We don’t believe in using a whip. I have complete faith in business operators here." Mahla further explained that a large number of operators are simply unaware of the legal requirements. He expressed confidence that once they are informed about the regulations, 99% will comply, noting that it is the agency's duty to provide that education.
