Delhi authorities seize and destroy 500 kg of fake paneer before Raksha Bandhan
Ahead of the Raksha Bandhan festival this Friday, the Delhi government’s Food Safety Department confiscated and destroyed more than 500 kg of tainted paneer at the Okhla Sabzi Mandi. Additionally, officials collected 22 food samples from across different districts and forwarded them to labs for testing. According to Food Safety Officer Vijay Bahadur, the counterfeit paneer was being transported into the national capital from Aligarh.
