A 7-year-old boy identified as Rehan lost his life after drowning in a waterlogged empty plot in Delhi's Samaypur Badli area on Thursday. According to police, the child had stepped out with his younger brother at approximately 8:30 am but failed to come back. After the family spent nearly two hours searching for him, local residents alerted them to the pit, where they eventually recovered his body from the water.
