Defence production in India grew 4 times since 2014, exports touch ₹39,000 crore: Rajnath Singh
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that local defence manufacturing has climbed from ₹46,000 crore in 2014 to roughly ₹1.80 lakh crore today. He further noted that defence exports have seen a massive jump, rising from about ₹1,000 crore in 2014 to almost ₹39,000 crore. The Minister shared these figures while inaugurating a new ₹472-crore maintenance facility for T-series battle tanks at the Vehicle Factory in Jabalpur.
